DocXtools™ Table of Contents

Document authors can easily insert multiple TOCs directly from the Ribbon or Toolbar with the Table of Contents (TOC) Module. Enterprise-wide TOC definitions can be created, modified and deployed without affecting personal TOC definitions. The TOC Module leverages native Word functionality to easily produce live TOCs that can be updated as the document is edited and to ensure seamless collaboration.

The DocXtools TOC Module enhances native Word by:

  • Streamlining the insertion, removal or updating of the TOC and the TOC section
  • Enabling a user to insert multiple TOCs in one document
  • Providing the option to include only run-in headings (e.g., just the first sentence)
  • Providing the option to inherit formatting from the text or TOC specific
  • Distributing TOC schemes without a template
